Candidates do not need to reside in the metro-DC area; the work can be performed virtually from a HUBZone residence

Job Mission: Support our team’s efforts to identify, develop and respond to new business opportunities.

Here’s what you’ll be accountable for:

  • Lead and support the coordination and execution of business development efforts
  • Write, edit, and format concise, compliant and compelling proposals, Requests for Information (RFI), and other marketing materials including blog and social media postings
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for improvement of our internal business development processes and content

Additional Details:

  • Significant preference will be given to individuals whose primary residence is located in a qualified HUBZone (http://map.sba.gov/hubzone/maps/)
  • At least one year of experience strongly preferred:
    • Reading and interpreting Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Requests for Quotes (RFQs), and Requests for Information (RFIs)
    • Writing competitive proposals to the Federal Government, especially for Defense and/or Intelligence agencies
    • Creating compliance matrices for proposal compliance
    • Following a standard proposal development/submission process
  • Familiarity with the following platforms is preferred but not required:
    • Hubspot (CRM and/or Marketing)
    • GovTribe
    • Google Apps
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint required
  • This position requires US Citizenship and, for advancement, you may be required to obtain a US Government Security Clearance
